New Data Upload Strayos
New Strayos Uploading Guide
-
If the site you need to upload the project to does not exist yet, click on new site after clicking on “New Project” inside the subdomain.
-
-
-
To create a site, enter the name and location. Pick the closest matching site type. In this example we have an asphalt site, but cement is the closest matching type due to the similarity in size. Missing categories may be added in the future.
-
-
To determine the location of the site, choose “Upload Single Drone Image”, then drag and drop an image from the capture into the upload field.
-
-
Click on “Next” to get to the Coordinate Reference System (CRS) selection.
-
-
Usually you will need to select “Search Coordinate Systems” in the dropdown menu. Here EPSG 2276 applies, so it was entered in the search field and then selected.
-
Make sure the elevation units are “US Survey feet”
-
-
After that, the confirmation window will appear. Click “Submit” here, unless the EPSG code does not match what was selected.
-
-
After the site has been set up, click on “New Project” in the Subdomain view.
-
-
In the upload selection, click on “Stockpile Survey”.
-
-
After that, click on the tag that applies. “Production Inventory” should be sufficient for all of our uploads.
-
-
In most circumstances, “JPEG Images” is the correct upload type.
-
-
In the next view, select the correct site from the dropdown menu, and enter the project name. Typically the naming convention is “YYYY_MM_DD - Site Name - Inventory”. The project date should match the capture date. Also enable the Auto remove equipment option and select both equipment and conveyor.
-
-
In the next view, drag and drop all folders containing the site capture images.
-
-
Make sure that all item checks are green. If anything is flagged as red, still upload the images and report the issue with a screenshot of the flagged items.
-
-
Once you click on “Next” the images will start uploading.
-
-
Once that is complete an estimated processing time will be displayed.
